Our Story
Who We Are
At Empower MCR we provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people in Manchester age 9-16, with an extended offer for post-16 support. We are dedicated to delivering tailored, one-to-one mentoring and small group sessions, designed in alignment with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), to support everyone’s unique needs and potential.
With over 50 years of collective expertise in education, dance, youth work, health, fitness, wellbeing and mental health, our team fosters a safe space where students can thrive. Through functional skills development, AQA-accredited units, indoor and outdoor activities and holistic support, we empower young people to achieve personal growth and academic success.
Working collaboratively with families, schools, social care, health professionals, and the wider community, Empower MCR builds strong partnerships that enrich the lives of children and young people, helping them to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed for a brighter future.
